Nefer and his brother, Tippy/Tipster, joined us from a Cat Sanctuary following the unfortunate passing of their owner, which left numerous cats in need of new homes. We adopted both cats and welcomed them into a new life at the Alley Cat Cafe.
Nefer and other residents relocated to the kitty lounge in August 2019.
He tended to the surrounding cats with great care and held a special place in the hearts of everyone, including visitors who came to know him, spend time with him, and affectionately regard him as the "guard cat of the lounge."
He held a unique place within the "Alley Cat Family," and we had hoped he would be with us for many more years. His influence on everyone was profound. We miss you deeply, dear boy.
Regrettably, following a period of kidney disease, we had to bid farewell.
You will be missed indefinitely.
His sister Gracie continues to miss him daily.
